If you are interested in having me visit your school or group, the first thing to do is email
me. I do school visits and adult panels, book groups and store appearances all over the
place, for pre-schoolers through colleges and beyond. I especially love to talk with kids
and teens about creative writing (and rewriting) process as well as the inside scoop on
my books, an have created a syllabus for both one-day and four-day programs. But since
every group, every community is different, I will work with you to make sure my visit
fits your curriculum and will have lasting positive effects.

brief description of your group (eg middle school, book store party, mother-daughter
book club, etc.), which book or books have drawn you to me, and a few possible dates
that would work for you. And then we'll go from there...
